This is a new and improved division board feeder with a cap and ladder system. This fits standard Langstroth Deep Hive Bodies. The feeder has an extra large capacity of nearly two gallons! This means less trips to the beeyard for feeding. The cap and ladder system keeps the feeder completely sealed off to prevent drowning. The bees enter the feeder from the holes in the top of the cap, then climb down the ladders to feed on the syrup. The sealed feeding tubes also prevent the bees from building comb inside the feeder. The wooden cap locks into place using removable bands. This prevents the feeder from sloshing around if you need to move the hives. It also makes the feeder more study because everything is locked securely into one unit. The double frame width helps keep your brood chamber tight for better clustering. You can also use this in a standard nuc box for feeding during matings, or to stimulate colony growth.
